The El Capitan Theatre’s Sensory Inclusive Screening program gives all guests the opportunity to experience movies in a safe space with:

-Dimmed lights and lower sound in the auditorium

-Reduced smells and sounds in our theatre lobby

-Altered security check-in processes and a reduced theatre capacity

-Mobile sensory station

-Sensory bags available upon request

The Sensory Inclusive Screening program is in collaboration with KultureCity, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization creating sensory accessibility and inclusion for those with invisible disabilities. We have trained our cast members and are now certified as a Sensory Inclusive Venue.
